As this week comes to a close, I sit here reflecting on the amazing week I had. My mom flew in a week ago today and stayed with me for a good 5 days. I love visiting home but love it so much more when she comes here because there is so much to do! We went all over the place. With that being said, my homework was left on the back burner. I honestly feel like my creativity flows so much more freely when I procrastinate. Not saying go do it! lol

We had an amazing time going to the Aquarium of the Pacific (which we haven’t been to since it opened in 1998), Melrose Trading Post, Melrose Place to introduce my mom to the infamous J.D.Luxe, had lunch at my favorite place of the moment, “Toast.” Safe to say they left a great impression on my mom. However, nothing could compare to how blown away my mom and I were at Lady Gaga’s concert this past Sunday Night! It was her first big concert and seeing her happy and enjoying herself made me the happiest person on the planet.

It’s always sad having to part ways with my mom. She’s my best friend, my rock and my everything. We know it’s never goodbye, it’s see you later. <3

I’m so sorry I’ve been MIA, I haven’t had a chance to sit down and write. Although, I do have an exciting upcoming post on a local entrepreneur who is amazing at reconstructing vintage items, as well as my usual outfit posts.
